I am happy that God is allowing our nation and the world to go through a period of economic turmoil. I think that we are long overdue for Gods hand to be swift and firm with us. We have become a Babylonian society and it's not good. We cannot trust in "things". When you fail to worship and to praise God for the freedoms that we all have today, then it's clear that you don't know who God is.
We have free nation because of God. Only God can give you freedom. Only God can give love. When we as a society fail to give God the honor and the praise, he begins to come to us and to correct us. It's because God has seen this type of behavior over and over again throughout the generations. He has heard the cries of the poor and of the greedy.
He has heard the cries of the people and God wants to help us to get back on track again. We must remember that God is in charge and not man. Man does not control the hand of God. We must always be open to the praises and the glories of God. He is the one that we truly have to turn to in all periods of time and in all periods of life.
